R. G. College of Education, Lalganj, Vaishali is a Co-Educational Institution running with B. R. A. Bihar University, Muzaffarpur & Bihar School Examination Board, Patna ( Bihar). Mananged and administered by Rahda Govind Trust, Lalganj, Vaishali a body duly registered by the Govt. of Bihar Charitable Trust Act. The college is recognised by National Council for Teaching Education (NCTE, ERC) Bhubaneshwar, Orissa. Govt. of India.
Radha Govind Trust since its inception has been taking interest in the field of education. As regards the training college its serious concern and efforts is to help the development of the whole persons as to be fully development human, Indian and completely modern.
Right education leads to liberation and real learning to excellence of wealth to preserve piece and maintain the progress in every sphere of life. Education play a very vital role and places where it is imported are the right seedbeds for culture & character along with the fate of the nation, because from there come out the statesmen, schools, patriots, scientists, philosopher and so on and determines the progress of the nation.
It was long cherissed deman of the local people to established a teacher training college in the region the create and linguistic heritage of the community by the proper use of hands, head and heart.

AIMS & OBJECTIVE

The college aims at an integral and personlized training of young men & women through Integral Padagoya-Context, Experience, Reflection, Action and Evaluation — to be well motivated teachers who will be intellectually competent, morally upright, socially committed and spiritually inspired. The college therefore, offers on all round training, one that is at once intellectual, cultural, social, emotional, physical, aesthetic, moral and spiritual.

The college further aims at promoting value such as respect for Indian common cultural heritage egalitarianism, democracy, secularism, equality of sexes, protection of environment, removal of social barriers, responsible use of cybernotics and mass media, transparency and probity in private and public life, observance of small family norms, national unity and respect for religious and moral values.

We visualise the overall development of would be teachers who will be the storehouse of knowledge and with this potential knowledge, they will have the unlimited abilities and capacities to spread the wisdom all around. Further, the college will be involved in preparing teachers who provides leadership, examplary educational and related services to improve the lives in a charging and complex global society.

5. To empower the teachers with sufficient the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to perform their various roles in the educational system as well as in the society.

7. To acquint the teachers with appropriate skills and methodologies to facilitate learnign among the pupils and also to handle children with special needs.
8. To motivate the teachers to understand action research and empty innovative practices in accordance with scientific technological advancement.

INFRASTRUCTURE FACILITIES

  • LIBRARY

    The library is well resources and is catalogued; managed by a trained, professional librarian. The college serves updated reference books, magazines, journals and news-papers in different languages. Presently the number of books in the library is 5026.

    The college library has books in all teaching subject along with a large number of general and reference books including encyclopidia and dictionaries. Materials related to B.Ed. Examination. The library has a seperate reading room for the benefit of bonafide college students and it remains open during vocation as well as after the college hours also. The library welcomes books lovers to its calm and serene ocean of knowledge bliss.

  • SCIENCE LAB

    Laboratary has multiple sets of material and equipments for science experiments. The students are given training to perform experiments as well as to develop improvised apparatus for use as teaching aids.

  • EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY LAB AND SMART CLASS ROOM

    The college has a fully equiped computer laboratory with internet access under staff supervision. Teachers make effective use of the internet to research at provide for students the very latest information plus teaching strategies.

    The lab has multi-media like interactive board, computer, T.V, VCR, Tape recorder, OHP, Sound system, LCD projector, Camera DVD player, audio & video cassettes etc. by which the students are given training to make the best possible use of latest technology in their teaching. The college has a WIFI campus too.

  • LANGUAGE LAB

    The language lab is well equipped with hardware and software such as Linguaphone (25 multimedia four level set), Linguaphone language lab machine. Recorded materials, study material VCD, TV, VCR. Audio cassette recorder, Educational Cassettes and Headphones for language learning by the students.

  • PHYSCHOLOGY LAB

    The laboratory is equipped with apparatus and equipments for simple experiments related educational Psychology. It has a number of performance and other psychological test such a intelligence (verbal non-verbal & performance) personality, aptitude, attitude, interest anxiety creativity etc. for the use of students.

  • AUDIO VISUAL AID ROOM

    This is the room where students are given practical training of using various audio visual aids like charts, models, flash sands, film strips, blackboard etc. in developing official and effective teaching skills.

  • SOCIAL STUDIES ROOM

    Effective environment is required for teaching learning process. Our college provides social studies room with fully equiped modern teaching aids which caters a pleasant environment, where students and teachers feel homely. This room act as a class-room as well as workshop where students learn to prepare models charts flashcards etc. and also learn other skills to make their teaching process effective.

  • ART / WORK EXPERIENCE ROOM

    The room is equipped with art material for preparation of charts, models and transparencies. Art room is an apt place to give shape to your imagination and creativity.

  • MUSIC ROOM

    In the regular curriculam of the college, students are given time and speace to something their mind and soul in the music room where the required musical instrument and peaceful aura shift them to a new world.

  • PHYSICAL EDUCATION ROOM

    Believing the maxim "A sound mind in a sound body." Physical Education room has been provided for the benefit of students as well as the staff members. To make the students physically fit and healthy, they are taught and encouraged to know the importance of various sports activities special emphasis is given on practicing yoga under the guidance of an expert during the activity period.

  • COMMON ROOM

    For the relaxation of the students, a provision of common room is made where the students can sit in their leisure time and can have the moment of rest and peace. Such peaceful moments enhance the students concentration, interest and span of attention.

  • MULTIPURPOSE HALL

    The college has well-ventilated and furnished hall with a seating capacity of 250 students. Beautifully decorated and lighted stage gives a platform to budding talents. The specious hall is utilized to conduct extension lectures, seminar, workshops and a number of college functions.

  • CATEEN

    The is the place where the students can find a variety of food and beverages to woo their tongue. The college canteen maintains the hygenic decorum and provides ample comfortable space to satisfy their appetite.

  • THE PLACEMENT CELL

    The college provides placement cell of an institution plays a vital role and is the important part of the institution. It acts an a liasion between the interest of students and the recruiting agencies. The aims of placement cell is to attempts to keep the students informed about potential job opportunities and guidance from time to time. Our college provides job opportunities to the students by assanging interviews of the different schools.

HOSTEL FACILITIES :

According to the needs of the students separate hostel facilities for the boys and girls are arranged. Every desire students who want to live at hostel with have to apply for this to proper authority.

  • No guest is allow to stay in the hostel premises.

    No arms & weapons of any kinds is allowed to be kept by any students in the hostel. '
